Dr. Timothy Coykendall has been serving patients through chiropractic care since 2000. He founded Valley Chiropractic Center in Tracy that year and today co-owns the practice with Dr. Johannes Garrido and Dr. Joseph Russell. With more than 25 years of clinical experience, he has treated tens of thousands of patients throughout California and built a reputation for providing compassionate, comprehensive, and patient-centered care.
A graduate of Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California, Dr. Coykendall is certified in prenatal and pediatric chiropractic care and has received advanced training in sports medicine and workers’ compensation injury management. His practice provides care for families, athletes, injured workers, personal injury patients, and individuals seeking to improve their overall health and wellness.
Dr. Coykendall has served as a team physician for numerous athletic organizations, including wrestling, soccer, football, and basketball programs. He has also served as a training doctor and mentor for chiropractic interns, helping prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals.
In addition to patient care, Dr. Coykendall serves as a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) for the State of California, performing independent medical evaluations and providing expert opinions in workers’ compensation cases. His extensive experience in medical-legal evaluations has made him a trusted resource for patients, attorneys, employers, and insurance professionals throughout California.
Today, Dr. Coykendall and his team provide care through four office locations, offering convenient access to chiropractic services six days a week. His mission is to deliver exceptional care with integrity, compassion, and clinical excellence while helping patients achieve their highest level of health and function.
Outside the office, Dr. Coykendall is active in his church and serves as a leader in Celebrate Recovery, a faith-based recovery ministry dedicated to helping people find healing and hope. He and his wife are proud parents of five children and grandparents to five grandchildren. Family, faith, and service remain at the center of his life and practice.
